Case for Scroll of Esther

This megillah case has much in common with the famous Safed kiddush cups; they share some typical engraved scenes of the Holy Land. Here the scenes depicted are the Western Wall and the Tower of David. This imagery is highly unusual on a Scroll of Esther silver case. This scroll and case were a gift and are inscribed with a Hebrew dedication inscription.
