AKIVA KENNETH SEGAN: UNDER
THE WINGS OF GOD
In his Holocaust art series Under the Wings of God and Shoah Dreams,
artist Akiva Kenneth Segan portrays some one hundred Holocaust victims,
many of whom had been imprisoned in the Warsaw Ghetto. The drawings depict
the victims with wings, an ironic metaphor for freedom, shelter and redemption.
